What you can expect

A live look at how mid-market engineering and manufacturing teams in Benelux turn 20+ years of project knowledge into instant, sourced answers — with a Business AI built for European compliance from day one.

DESCRIPTION

By 2030, more than six million skilled workers across DACH and Benelux will retire — and they will walk out the door with decades of project knowledge in their heads. Every week, somewhere in NL, BE or LU, a senior engineer hands in their badge and a thousand quiet decisions they made — about a client spec, a material substitution, a geometry that almost failed - leave with them.

Meanwhile, the engineers who remain keep searching. Across SharePoint, file servers, CAD vaults, Outlook archives and old project drives, engineers in mid-market industrial companies lose an average of 1.5 hours every day to internal search. That is roughly eight working weeks per engineer - gone.

European mid-market leaders are now closing that gap with Business AI. But most projects stall: buried under custom integrations, blocked by IT-Security, or pinned to ChatGPT-style tools that cannot reach the data that actually matters.

In 45 minutes, we will show you a different path. You will see amber working live on real engineering data. You will hear what and how the mid-sized mechanical engineering company Kemper GmbH deployed AI, what it returned, and what they would have done differently, if they did it again. You will leave with a hands on plan you can run with your own team - and clear, documented answers for your IT-Security and Data Protection colleagues will be available before they ask.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

    • How to capture the tacit knowledge of retiring senior engineers — across CAD vaults, project archives and inboxes - before it leaves the building
    • Why a Business AI grounded in your own documents (with sources) outperforms ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot for technical and engineering knowledge work
    • The three practical layers of AI adoption in industrial mid-market - Search, AI chat, autonomous Agents - and which one to start with given your data maturity
    • How amber meets the EU AI Act, GDPR and ISO 27001 by design, so IT-Security signs off in days, not quarters
    • The exact 4-week pilot path that turns a Business AI evaluation into a measurable success metric — without a six-figure integration project
    • What this actually costs — license, implementation, ongoing - with one customer's real numbers, openly shared

    WHO THIS IS FOR

CIOs, Heads of IT and Digital Transformation Leads evaluating Business AI for the technical mid-market. Heads of Engineering, R&D and Operations who are losing time to fragmented information. IT-Security and Data Protection Officers asked to greenlight AI initiatives under the EU AI Act. Knowledge Management and Innovation leads building a 12-month internal AI roadmap.

If your company has between 50 and 3,000 employees, designs or makes something physical, and has more than a decade of project history sitting on internal drives — this session was built for you.

Sr Bastian Maiworm

As co-founder of amber, Bastian is responsible for marketing and sales. While still a student, he became familiar with the challenges faced by many companies in the field of knowledge and information management. This motivated him to found amber together with his co-founders. What started out as an AI search engine for internal company data has now become a comprehensive AI platform serving over 400 customers.
